The University Of Jos — Law Clinic Meeting with Principal Partner of Anyia and Co (Shalom Chambers)
A recap of The Meeting with Principal Partner of Anyia and Co (Shalom Chambers)
On Monday, members of the University Of Jos — Law Clinic went on a courtesy visit to Anyia and Co., a top law firm here in Jos, Plateau State.
It was indeed an enriching encounter, in which the Principal Partner, Barr. Lawrence Anyia, provided invaluable insights into the operations of the law clinic.
During the meeting, he commended our efforts and expressed his willingness to offer continuous support and collaboration to the law clinic, University of Jos. His commitment to our cause was evident, and we are grateful for his encouragement.
Furthermore, he promised to extend his firm's guardianship to us, making available their resources for research and drawing upon his extensive legal practice. This gesture will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities and broaden our scope.
In addition, the Principal Partner pointed us towards another potential fruitful partner that we should reach out to, (Legal Aid, Plateau State, and the Nigerian Bar Association, Jos Branch) further expanding our network and resources.
He was particularly impressed by the leadership of the clinic and the enthusiastic response from our clinicians during the visit. Such positive feedback reaffirms the importance of our work and motivates us to strive for excellence.
Looking ahead, the Principal Partner assured us of continual engagement and further partnership opportunities, highlighting the bright future ahead for our law clinic.
Let’s seize upon these opportunities and continue to work together towards our shared goals.
Best regards,
Law Clinic Executive Team.
